Memphis-ExtraBold Lowercase “r” Explorations
Exploring a letter in a new font library is rewarding. Studying its properties and exploring what makes it unique, led to new experimental configurations/compositions. I explored lowercase “r” in the typeface Memphis-ExtraBold. The studies were altered from their seemingly solid surface to textural and digital shapes.
